When they have an opportunity to live up to their commitment to be “transparent” and “work with landowners,” Texas Central just never gets anywhere close.

In response to our discovery requests in the Surface Transportation Board matter, Texas Central has filed a motion asking the STB to allow Texas Central to keep hiding documents from the public by providing some documents but marking them “Confidential” and “Highly Confidential.” Texas Central also wants TAHSR volunteers and our attorneys to sign statements agreeing that we can be PERSONALLY sued if we release any of the information to the public.

Texas Central wants the power of government to use eminent domain, but under its own secret rules. Just another reminder that Texas Central is anything but transparent.
